Preposição de Tempo - Parte 2

Quando usar on time, in time, at the end e in the end.

Utilizamos on time - quando estamos tratando de situações que acontecem sem atraso(pontualmente).
Exemplo :
The 11.45 train left on time (o trem saiu no horário determinado)
The movie started on time   (o filme começou no horário)

Late  é o oposto de on time :

Exemplo :

be on time. Don't be late (esteja na hora marcada. Nao atrase.)

Utilizamos in time - quando chegamos no horário sem atraso.
Exemplo:
I will be home in time for dinner. (Chegarei em casa antes do jantar)
He is going to work. I hope he get there in time. (Ele esta indo para o trabalho. Espero que ele chegue lá no horário.(Sem atraso para o trabalho)
I am in a hurry. I want to be home in time to see the game on television. Estou com pressa. Eu quero estar em no horário(antes do jogo) para assisitir o jogo na televisão.

Too late é o oposto de in time :
Exemplo :
I got home too late to see the game on television. (Eu cheguei em casa muito tarde para assistir o jogo na televisão.)

Nos podemos também utilizar em cima da hora (just in time) :
Exemplo :
We got to the station just in time for our train.(Nós chegamos na estação em cima da hora para pegar o train). 


At the end  e in the end 

Utilizamos at the end quando uma situação ira ser finalizada no final.
Exemplo :
at the end of the month
at the end of the film
at the end of January
at the end of the course
at the end of the game
at the end of the concert

I am going away at the end of January/at the end of the month. (Eu irei embora no fim do mes de Janeiro.)
At the end of the concert, I kissed her. (No final do concerto, Eu beijei ela.)

At the beginning of é o oposto de at the end of :
Exemplo :
I'm going away at the beginning of January.(Eu irei embora no início de Janeiro.)


Utilizamos in the end quando queremos dizer finalmente(no final).
Exemplo :
We had a lot of  problems with our car. We sold it in the end.(Nós tivemos muitos problemas com o nosso carro. Nós vendemos ele finalmente.
Alan couldn't decide where to go for his holidays. He didn't go anywhere in the end.(Alan não conseguiu decidir aonde ele iria no feriado. Ele não foi em lugar nenhum no final.)
